Just had my GAC supplied wall charger installed. I have altered the internal dip switches per a discussion on the FB forum to disable the swipe card, pic attached.
My sparky installed a Shelly switch in series with a regular breaker and rcd.
This allows me to plug in and switch the breaker on regardless of the current power tariff, then the Shelly switches on & off when my 9c elevtricity is available.
BTW it seems to deliver a consistent 60KM range per hour regardless of the state of charge.
